The theme of ISOPP 2019 is Advancing Patient Care Through Global Collaboration .

In recent years we have seen an explosion in new technology and novel drug therapies. In our quest to keep up with new developments it can be easy to lose sight of what is most important – providing high quality pharmaceutical care for our patients. How can we deliver a modern oncology pharmacy service with a human touch?

As well as delivering a thought provoking and engaging programme of technical, clinical and practice updates, the ISOPP 2019 symposium will present participants with a rare opportunity to compare practice with colleagues from around the world, and explore the possibilities of improving practice and patient outcomes through research and collaboration.

ISOPP’s Biosimilars Workshop will take place on Thursday, October 10, 2019 .

A full day interactive workshop will focus on the education needs of ISOPP and the British Oncology Pharmacy Association (BOPA) members, as identified in ISOPP’s recent needs assessment survey.

BOPA’s Introduction to Oncology Pharmacy Course will also take place on Thursday, October 10, 2019 . The course  is aimed at practitioners new to oncology (less than 2 years’ experience), and will deliver sessions on key topics such as pharmaceutical care planning, oncological emergencies and much more.
ISOPP Masterclass
A ISOPP’s Masterclass will take place on Monday, October 14, 2019 . 

A full day practical workshop on Aseptic Preparation , aimed at sharing practices and expanding the knowledge of oncology pharmacy practitioners; facilitated by ISOPP leaders and oncology pharmacy experts.
