A New Worship Plan as
Covid Guidelines Relax
As we slowly emerge from the Covid precautions of the last year, these are the plans for our worship gatherings:

1. If you've been fully vaccinated for at least two weeks, no mask is required.

2. Social distancing will continue in part. We’ll still be sitting in pews marked by ribbons, but feel free to sit closer to others in your pew if you're fully vaccinated. As more and more have returned to worship, we're starting to get a little crowded, so filling each pew with more people will help!

Thanks, friends, for the love and grace you have shown to each other through this difficult season. Let's continue to model that in our care for each other as we press on – both with those masked and those now maskless!

Women's Tuesday Morning Bible Study
The late Floyd McClung said " pursuing friendship with God is the highest calling of every human being". This summer, there will be an opportunity for women to gather to develop a deeper intimacy with God through song, scriptures, sharing and praying together. The works of several authors will be highlighted including Floyd McClung, Judson Cornwall, Tom White, and more. Please join us on Tuesday mornings from 10:00-11:30. Child care is available by reservation through the office.
Sunday School Back to Meeting In Person
Hallelujah! We are back in person for Sunday School during the month of July. There will be several folks facilitating a class on the book of 1st Peter (Rob Green, Jo White, Ross Anderson and Walter Varvel). We will begin at 9:15 and will conclude in plenty of time for us to make it to church at 10:30. And did we mention that there will be donuts?

Child Care for Women's Bible Study
We would like to offer baby sitting for the Women’s Tuesday morning Bible Study this summer. However, we don’t want to engage sitters if there is not a need. Please let Patience Flynn know if this is something you are interested in. She will need to know the names and ages of your children plus any special needs they might have.
Make Studio: Art and Recovery Donation Needs
Good news - Some of Make Studio's Art and Recovery girls are graduating and moving out of their recovery house after several long years of working on their recovery and themselves! We are so excited for them and want to set them up well in their apartment, as they are starting with very little. Please contact Angie Cooke at 804-357-0645 or angie@makestudiorva.com if you are interested in donating gently used items (such as furniture, home goods and linens) and for details on specific needs.
Help Wanted at Children's Garden Preschool

Livestreaming Bible Study and Worship

We are now live-streaming many of our events, including Sunday worship and some of our classes on our YouTube channel. These can also be viewed later at the same YouTube channel. Take advantage of the opportunity to catch up on anything you’ve missed, or to share these ministries with friends who might benefit from them.
