Novi Road intersection at 12 Mile closes tomorrow
Novi Road completely closed to through NB & SB traffic at 12 Mile Road
Work continues at the intersection of 12 Mile and Novi roads with a switch to Stage 2 now planned for tomorrow morning at 9am.

In Stage 2, Novi Road will be completely closed to through north and southbound traffic at 12 Mile Road. Twelve Mile Road, east and westbound traffic will be maintained, but limited to one lane. Businesses in the area, including the gas station on the northwest corner, remain open. The detour around the intersection is Meadowbrook Road.

The goal is to reopen the intersection by early- to mid-September. Stay up-to-date on this project and all other road projects at cityofnovi.org/BetterRoadsAhead.

Free event at Pavilion Shore Park runs from 6-9pm, Saturday, Aug. 3
Explore the Hawaiian and Polynesian cultures, along with delicious food, music and fun activities at Luau on the Shore from 6-9pm on Saturday, Aug. 3 at Pavilion Shore Park.

This free event is open to all ages. Food is available for purchase from food trucks.

Make your way to Main Street on Saturday, August 10 for The Main Event Novi.

This free festival is back for year four and better than ever. There truly is something for everyone, from kids' activities and food trucks to great live music, beverage tent and classic car show.

Get your car seat checked before school starts
Free inspections, installations from 9-noon, Sat. Aug. 17, Fire Station #4
Make sure your little one is getting to school safely in a properly installed child safety seat.

The Novi Fire Department is hosting a free cart seat installation on Saturday, August 17, from 9-noon at Fire Station #4. Please bring your vehicles owner's manual, car seat manual and, if possible, the child who will be riding in the seat.
