ACROSS THE DISTRICT
It's Week 3 of the Arts Council Campaign!
Shared Radiance Performing Arts Company Provides Interactive Experiences

“We greatly enjoyed the [Shared Radiance] performance and thank you for bringing such talented, kind actors to our school. I admired their energy for each performance. They gave their all for each audience, which was inspiring. They were also very professional and encouraging of the students. I appreciated that they made a point of encouraging students to find their place in the theatre, their niche, what they excel in and love. I appreciated that they made Shakespeare more relatable and told the kids never to be intimidated by Shakespeare. The audience participation and pace of the show was great fun. It was a memorable event. It was also great for the students to see examples of strong actors in an ensemble with great articulation, projection and pacing. As a teacher, I was pleased to see a young African American actor in the ensemble; someone the students could relate to.” Tara Hauser, Theatre and Drama Teacher at Parkland High School

The Arts Council’s Wells Fargo Arts-in-Education grants fund 45-minute compilation performances of Shakespeare’s works by Shared Radiance to high school and middle school students throughout WS/FCS. Thank you for your continued support of the Arts Council’s 2019 Community Fund for the Arts. Please consider a payroll deduction pledge to fund programs like Shared Radiance and many others in our schools. https://5934.thankyou4caring.org/WSFCS
