Mrs. Sam will post a fun podcast to listen to that is paired with a cool craft activity! She'll be doing the activity herself with her trusty partner, Rowan. We'll share our final result with you as a Facebook video and hope you do the same!
Friday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. Remote Writing in the Cyber World: Journaling in the Time of the Pandemic. Use your journal for self-guidance and expanded creativity while exploring the personal search for wisdom. Add laughter, happiness, positive energy and awareness. Enjoy poetry and music while writing about these things. Imagine what we can accomplish when we use some optimistic writing prompts. Let's begin to create and explore new ideas with Barrie Kavasch. Join Ms. Abigail as she shows you how to make Invisible Ink!This low-tech invisible ink science experiment lets kids send secret messages to friends and family. All they'll need is a little lemon juice or milk. We decided to try both versions of this invisible ink experiment to see if the results were any different. All ages. On Facebook.

Friday, May 15 at 5:30 p.m. Paint with Your Feet Challenge!
Mrs. Sam will put up a video that explains the parameters of this challenge and a feet painting tutorial- make a masterpiece using your feet and enter it in to our Feet Painting Digital Exhibit! The video will be on Facebook and you can enter by emailing photos of your foot painting to Mrs. Sam at [email protected].
Saturday, May 16 at 10:30 a.m. Elephants Story Hour.
Let's read some stories about these gentle giants and make a milk jug craft! Mrs. Sam will be on Zoom to read you some books and lead you through making an elephant with a plastic gallon milk jug, some scissors, brightly colored tissue paper, PVA/white glue and a black pen.
Saturday, May 16 at 10:30 p.m. Virtual Kent Quiz Night III. Quizmaster Sarah Marshall announces a third Virtual Quiz Night on
Zoom. Teams can be 1 to 6 people (as long as you can communicate with each other ie texting/messaging, etc.) Must Register by Friday at Noon . First 20 teams to register can compete - all other teams will play for fun. Participants will need access to Google Docs and Zoom. To register:
