Don & Mary are back in Minnesota
Don & Mary are back in Minnesota! When I asked Don about the highlight of their two weeks trip, he said; "
Meeting with new folks! The people we interact with and meet along the way are the two treasures that I take home."
As the holiday season getting closer, it was a good reminder for me, what is essential in life.
Doesn't matter how delicious is the wine or food, how beautiful is the landscape, if we can't share with friends and family. It's so easy to bury ourselves under stress for finding the perfect gifts, decorating our homes or preparing an outstanding holiday meal for our guests, but in the end what we are truly going to remember is our interactions with others.
Together is the best place to be!

This lady was the winery owner at one of the older wineries at Paso Robles. Her vineyard had beautiful rolling hills I could not resist stopping. Back approximately 30 years ago when they bought this building, they bought it out please auction because the facility had been used to raise marijuana. My how times are changing.
This is the winery owner near Santa Cruz. His red wines are very very good but also even more expensive.

On a quiet evening in Paso Robles I strolled down to a tasting bar that had live music, just like we do at the winery. I met this group visiting from Los Angeles. Two days later by chance we bumped into them at morning coffee also. They are wonderful people.
