The ideal candidate is expected to maintain a keen focus on and awareness of global news events and should possess a clear understanding of digital news-gathering and TV news production including editorial, logistical and operational techniques. The candidate must be capable of efficiently handling multiple breaking news stories in a fast-paced network newsroom environment. Must be experienced in planning the coverage of upcoming large and small-scale news events.

The responsibilities of this position include researching and booking a wide range of experts and high-profiled guests across the world for network shows and current affairs talk shows. This position will include efforts to expand the contacts database covering various expertise worldwide, as well as
all guest-booking related responsibilities. The ideal candidate has international news, guest booking, and live broadcast experience with established media contacts globally. This is a full-time role.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Except for those individuals for whom, you know, it's not.
The holiday season often yields a number of office-related functions, from parties and get-togethers, to Secret Santa and White Elephant gift exchanges, to decorations, to music, and much, much more. And with each semi-sanctioned, yet non-mandatory festive workplace event, there is the potential for awkward feelings or flat out anxiety to build in those who would simply rather not participate.
Keep in mind: opting out of work-related holiday events should
ALWAYS be an employee's choice. And when celebrating, avoid controversy, embrace inclusivity, and think ahead.
