Deeper than personality lies a structure for survival that drives the body/mind to move away from our core Being. In this Satsang, we will explore three basic movements of ego: away in fear, against in anger, or toward in the attempt to get love. What triggers these movements? What is being avoided and how can we stay true to ourselves?
The quieter we become, the easier it is to see through the illusion of our own strategies to protect and defend. This Satsang is not about fixing, changing, or creating a shinier, more improved version of you. It is an opportunity to stop all of your attempts to avoid what is always here and awaken to your true essence.
This Satsang brings together the wisdom of A Course in Miracles and the Enneagram of Character. At their core, these two sacred schools for awakening expose the illusion of ego and the unnecessary suffering that we experience when left unseen.
