I would like to extend an invitation to you as one of our VIPs (Very Important Primate)! The staff at Jungle Friends would be delighted if you would join us on Saturday, February 15 at 1pm as we celebrate the boy's new home in The Lollipop Guild with a ribbon-cutting  ceremony ! This new area at Jungle Friends is home to the 26 squirrel monkeys released from the nicotine addiction studies by the  FDA. 

These squirrel monkeys are very special monkeys, as this was the FIRST TIME EVER   the FDA has retired monkeys to a sanctuary -- and it will not be the last! If you have not heard about their story, you can see the CNN feature here.

We will have snacks, and screen a video of the monkeys being moved from their lab cages into their new digs. And I would love to take you on a short tour of the sanctuary!
