Freshman Parents
The first Freshman Academy "Chat and Chew" video has been posted for ninth grade parents to review on the Freshman Parents Website Page. We answered questions directly asked by Freshman parents in order to support students during their transition to high school.
Dual Enrollment
There will be an informational meeting on Dual Enrollment on Tuesday September 29th. Please email Ms. Bolt at chrissie.bolt@gcpsk12.org to receive the zoom link for the meeting.
PSAT
Peachtree Ridge, through a grant from the Georgia Department of Education, offers the PSAT free of charge to all students in a 10th grade PRIDE and at a charge for any student in a 9th and 11th grade PRIDE. The PSAT is scheduled for in-person administration on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Peachtree Ridge High School.

If you are a 10th grade digital learner:
You must sign up to take the PSAT. Please use this link by 10/4 to reserve your seat for this important assessment at PRHS.


If you are 9th or 11th grader:
The cost of the exam is $18. Registration is open now through September 29th at midnight. Students may register as a LATE REGISTRANT (pending enough materials) on the MYPAYMENTSPLUS site through October 9th at midnight at a cost of $25. 
Voter Registration
License or Learners Permit
To request certificates for applying for your learner's permit or your driver's license, go to www.mypaymentsplus.com and look under school fees.
The fee is $5.00 and will be processed in 3-5 business days. All certificates will be mailed. Pick-up is not available. If you have recently moved and have not notified school with new documentation (i.e. lease/utility), you MUST contact martha.I.kuhn@gcpsk12.org to update your address before we can process the Certificate of Enrollment.

Options include:
  • Certificate of Enrollment (for Learners Permit)
  • Certificate of Enrollment and ADAP (for Driver’s License)

Senior Counseling Office Event
Attention Digital Learning Seniors!
THIS IS MANDATORY! 

Who: All students in their 4th year of high school at PRHS who are participating in digital learning (Seniors who are learning in-person will complete this process with their counselor in school.) 
 
What: Drive-by the front of the school during your assigned day/time to complete & sign your Senior Application for Graduation. This is required for graduation! 
 
When: September 28-October 3. See this schedule for your assigned day/time. 
 
Where: Bus lanes @ PRHS 
 
Why: You can't graduate from high school if you don't know what graduation requirements need to be met. 
 
To-Do Prior to Your Assigned Time: 
  1. Bring a pen 
  2. Bring a sheet of paper with your Last Name, First Name written in large print and place it in your dashboard 
  3. View the short video detailing the Senior Application for Graduation form

SPORTS
GOFAN.COM for Event Tickets
Sports tickets can only be purchased via gofan.com with a credit or debit card to home sporting events. Due to limited capacity, there are less tickets to events. To purchase a home ticket for games please click here.  Many other school are also going touch-less for tickets as well. If they are using GoFan, those tickets will also be available under Peachtree Ridge.

(highly technical dance: multiple turns in second, switch leaps, years of dance technique needed)

Hip Hop Dance Team: Monday, Oct. 5th, Tuesday, October 6th, and Wednesday, October 7th in the Dance Studio from: 2:15-4pm

Media Center
If your student would like to check out books this semester we are offering curbside pickup on Fridays from 8am-4pm. We are also delivering books to classrooms for our students who are back for face-to-face instruction. Just fill out the following form to order your library books and then put the book on hold in the media catalog (directions on how to do this are in this form):
