Big Day of Giving is a community-wide movement that's raised more than $52 million for hundreds of nonprofits in El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo counties since 2013. Their mission is focusing on the root causes of local challenges, seeking solutions with long-term results, and supporting the organizations like Uplift People of Elk Grove that tend to the vital needs of the capital area. This helps create the conditions for meaningful transformation in the Sacramento region.
