OUR MISSION IN ACTION

Luis Martinez was a well respected groom in the polo world in the St Louis Missouri area. In the spring of 2018 he experienced complete kidney failure while in St. Louis. Other polo grooms in the area suggested that he reach out to PPSG for help. Upon receiving the funding approval from PPSG, Martinez went from dialysis in a hospital in St. Louis directly to dialysis in a hospital in Mexico. PPSG was able to pay for the kidney transplant that saved his life.  Reflecting on the experience Martinez said,  "I am very happy to report my kidney transplant was a success and I am back at work grooming and shoeing. I would like to pass on my most sincere gratitude to the supporters of the PPSG who saved my life and I ask people to please help us continue to help those members of our polo family who suffer a serious injury or illness."
