Southbrook Vineyards in Niagara-on-the-Lake was the first wine estate in Canada to earn both organic and biodynamic certification back in 2008.

We recently connected with Ann Sperling, Director of Winemaking and Viticulture at Southbrook, to learn a bit more about biodynamic methods, and how Southbrook Vineyards works in harmony with the land and Linc Farm to produce their celebrated wines.

" Working in a closed loop system is a big part of biodynamics," Ann explains.
"We raise or grow as many inputs as possible within our own farm environment. "
