Students only have to be on campus when they have an exam. Students are not permitted to leave campus unless they are done for the day. If a student is on campus during an exam but does not have an exam, the student must report to the Learning Commons. Students will not be allowed to wander around campus or be in any classroom building between 7:45 and 11:00 (12:45 on Monday) unless they are taking an exam or are in the Learning Commons or it is during the 15 minute break between exams.
Exams are 90 minutes long. All students must remain in the exam room for the entire 90 minutes. No one will be allowed to go to their locker or to the restroom while exams are being given. Students must be in uniform for exams.
It is important to be on time for all exam. If you are tardy, you will forfeit the time on that exam.
Students should not be absent on an exam day unless they are seriously ill or an absence has been pre-approved by the administration. All medical excuses during exams must have a doctor's note dated for that day. Parents must call the school the morning of the exam to report the absence (preferably before 7:45).

Learning Commons will close at 2pm on exam days.

Santa Fe Catholic's National Art Honor Society's Christmas Parade Float

The National Art Honor Society presented the storybook" Madeline's Christmas" by Ludwig Bemelmans as their entry to the annual Lakeland Christmas Parade. The parade's theme was "A Storybook Christmas."

George Karatzas, Josiah Valery and Cooper Widick carried Santa Fe Catholic H.S.'s banner to lead the Crimsonettes and our Christmas float throughout the streets of Lakeland.

It was an exciting evening for everyone. The streets on the parade route were filled with thousands of cheering people many of whom were children. They enthusiastically applauded our students.

Jaleinys Castro played the part of Madeline. Clara Byrne, Marina Copley, Nicole Delgado-Velez, Claire Mense. Veronica Polanco, and Nicole Targia, played the part of Madeline's roommates. Katelyn Eden portrayed the Nun in charge of the girls.

The set was the replica of the open Madeline book and a sparkling Eiffel Tower against a starry night.

The Crimsonettes, Katie Bruschi, Sophie Hopkins, Hailey Odom, Vanessa Satariano, Giselle Strong and Katie Young danced their Santa Fe Catholic routines. Joshua Young also walked with the music.

Thanks to Mrs. Monica Valery who drove her truck that pulled our float and to Mrs. Bruschi who organized and helped with the Crimsonettes and the float.

Presentation from SCAD Savannah College of the Arts

Chloe Blake of SCAD Savannah College of the Arts presented the college and its programs to Mrs. Pfund's Art classes last Friday our students were impressed by the many courses the college offers. The school is in the heart of historic Savannah and some of its classrooms and studios are housed in renovated historic buildings. The presentation was met with interest by our students, some of whom requested more information about applying to the college.
