The Revolutionary, New "TomTato" 'Ketchup 'n' Fries' is a hand-grafted plant that brings together tomatoes and potatoes, two close relatives, that together give us one of life's great pleasures: 'Ketchup 'n' Fries'. It produces the sweetest cherry tomatoes you've ever tasted by the hundreds. In 2016 an improved grafting method lead to much better crops of potatoes than in 2015 with a few pounds per plant.

Mighty Mato ‘42 Days’ -- One of the earliest ripening tomatoes in the world taking about 42 days to get great quantities of ripe, delicious, 1 oz, salad type tomatoes. Perfect for cool summer climates and part shade to part sun gardens without hot sun. 42 days. Determinate.

Mighty Mato ‘Beefsteak’ -- Bright red, slightly ribbed, 4–5 heirloom tomatoes with delicious, sweet, meaty flesh. An excellent slicer, but also wonderful for cooking, salads or canning. 85-95 days. Indeterminate.

Mighty Melons and Mighty Veggies consist of desirable heirloom and cool modern varieties that are grafted onto super strong rootstock that, like the Mighty Matos, confers greater disease resistance, greater cold tolerance, and greater vigour resulting in extra large crops of fruit and vegetables. The grafting can make a particularly positive difference in our cool summer climates with melons, peppers and eggplants that all require hot seasons to produce good crops.

Mighty Melons 'Ambrosia' Cantaloupe -- A reliable garden and fresh market favourite. Round, hybrid melons are 4 to 5 lbs. with pale orange flesh and a small seed cavity. Very sweet, floral flavour is both juicy and tender. Disease resistant. 80-90 days.

Mighty Melons 'Swan Lake' Honeydew -- Rare, beautiful, small, heirloom honeydew-type melons are 2 to 3 lbs. with smooth, creamy yellow skin. Flesh is white to pale salmon-pink with sweet, crisp flavor. 80-90 days.

Mighty Melons 'Sugar Baby' Watermelon -- Small, 8 to 10 inch, round, dicebox� heirloom watermelons are 6 to 10 lbs. with a nearly black rind when ripe. A standard picnic staple since it was introduced in 1959. Crisp, juicy, deep red-orange flesh, small black seeds, and incredibly sweet, rich flavour. Mildew resistant. 80-90 days.

Mighty Veggies 'Coolcumber' (Khassib) Cucumber -- High yielding plant produces crisp, sweet, medium-green, spineless mini cucumbers that are 3 to 4 inch long. Plants are vigorous and suitable for hot weather with good resistance to powdery mildew. 70-80 days.

Mighty Veggies 'Gigabite' Cucumber -- Japanese burpless hybrid cucumber plants are vigorous and easy to grow, producing an abundance of crisp, 8 inch long cucumbers. Slender fruits, up to 1 inch; in diameter with fine white spines and glossy, deep green skin. Heat tolerant and resistant to downy mildew, powdery mildew, anthracnose, and cucumber mosaic virus (CMV). 40-50 days.

Mighty Veggies 'Epic' (Dusky) Eggplant -- Purple-black oval fruits can be picked at 3-5 inch or harvested when mature at 8-10 inch long. Perfect for roasting or grilling. Can be grown in containers. 70-80 days.

Mighty Veggies 'Anaheim' Pepper -- Tapered, 6 to 8 inch long peppers turn from green to red, with delicious, mildly hot flavour. A popular variety that�€™s excellent for roasting or frying. 65-75 days.

Mighty Veggies 'Golden Bell' Pepper -- Picture perfect 3 inch bell peppers ripen from green to light yellow to deep golden yellow. Sweet, blocky, thick-walled fruits are excellent for salads or stuffing. 65-75 days.

Mighty Veggies 'Jalapeno' Pepper -- Dark green, 3 inch conical peppers with hot, zesty flavour are thick-walled and easy to seed, one of the best for salsa, nachos, or chiles. Perfect fresh or pickled. 70-80 days.

Mighty Veggies 'Orange Bell' Pepper -- As sweet as it is colourful, easy-to-grow 'Orange Bell' is also a great source of antioxidants. Excellent for fresh eating, canning or freezing. Peppers can be picked green at 50 days or allowed to ripen to a sweet, deep-orange in 78 days.

Mighty Veggies 'Red Bell' (King Arthur) Pepper -- This pepper is hard to beat for its earliness and large size. Big, blocky 4.5 inch bells have thick, meaty walls with sweet flavour and crunchiness, whether harvested green or red. Sets well even in heat. Harvest in 60 days green; 75 days red.

Pre-Order Your Fertilizers - 2018 Prices Held for Pre-Orders - The results of our tomato survey published in our January 2016 e-newsletter suggested that many gardeners are not fertilizing enough to ensure their success with their edibles. Now you can pre-order your fertilizers to make sure you have them on hand to get all the edible production you desire. Choose the right one for you. We have four options.

Important Note: When you check out, click on the Pay with PayPal link. Once there you can use a PayPal account or simply pay with your Visa or MC and PayPal will process the transaction for us. When using your Visa or MC you do not need a PayPal account.

Local Customers: You will be emailed in advance with the exact date when your order will be ready for pick-up. Pre-orders are held for 4 weeks after which time your plants are returned to general inventory and you will be given a credit at the nursery. No refunds are given.

Canadian Mail Order Customers: These grafted veggies will not be offered on our official mail order site in 2019. If you would like to place an order, please do so here, minimum $40 in plants. Orders are shipped as soon as they are ready in early to mid May and cannot wait. If you have ordered other plants and they are ready at the same time, we will ship together. However, if your other plants are not ready we cannot hold grafted veggies to wait for your other plants. We are unable to quote an exact shipping rate but can tell you that we charge the Canada Post rate plus a small amount to cover our costs. We do not make money on shipping. In general we would estimate that shipping a box of three Mighty Matos would cost between $30-$40, depending on your location in Canada. They are in 1g pots and require a fair sized box to fit their foliage which costs extra for the volume.
