2019 Winter Ball Tickets Available
The date has been set for the 2019 Winter Ball! Are you ready to dance the afternoon away, dressed in your winter best? There will be plenty of dancing, hors d'ouevres, and time with friends. Tickets are available now.

Tickets must be pre-purchased from The Arc-Dane County for each person. (Sorry, no free tickets for staff, attendants, or family members). The ticket includes admission, snacks, and a drink. Tickets will be distributed on a first come-first served basis and mailed out before the event.
PLEASE NOTE: All clients must carry emergency contact information at the party. All individuals attending must provide their own transportation to and from the party.
In 2017, The Arc launched the Family & Individual Needs for Disability Supports (FINDS) survey, to assess the state of caregivers of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in the United States. The survey, conducted by The University of Minnesota's Institute on Community Integration in collaboration with The Arc, and resulting
Community Report, shed light on the experiences of families who provide supports to a family member with I/DD.
More than 3,000 people (3,398) met the criteria to be included in the survey and consented to participate.Caregivers were surveyed including respondents from all 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
The number of people responding was large and provides important information about the experiences and outcomes of family caregivers of individuals with I/DD in the United States. However, the sample is not reflective of the racial and economic diversity of the United States.
Health Insurance Open Enrollment Continues Through December 15
Now is the time for individuals who are uninsured or are looking for affordable health insurance to investigate the private health insurance plans available through state marketplaces (to find your state information visit the
healthcare.gov website). During open enrollment a person can purchase private health insurance through the marketplace in each state. There may also be financial assistance to help with health care costs available to people with low and moderate incomes. It is also important for people who currently have insurance through the marketplace to look at the plan to determine if it will continue to meet their needs. Individuals who do not take action will be automatically re-enrolled in the current plan. Re-enrollment is also an important opportunity for people to report any changes in income.
