It’s the holiday season, and we at Corneau Goldsmithing are feeling the holiday spirit! Not only do we look forward to seeing our repeat customers that come back year after year for gifts for their loved ones, we also love learning about new clients who come in our doors and tell us their stories of what makes jewelry meaningful to them. This time of year always makes us think back at some of our favorite stories throughout the year, including how Paris met Bryan. Below you can read about their love story.
We wish everyone a very happy and safe holiday season!
Michael, Meredith, Bella and Lani.

The December Birthstones are the Zircon, Tanzanite, and Turquoise. Ranging between icey blue and deek blue-violet, these three are a a reflection of the cooler weather and tones the world takes on this time of year. The stone in this photo is the Tanzanite, which is said to induce a calming feeling and provide a sense of positivity and well-being, a perfect combination with the time of year centered around reflecting on the year past!

Love is powerful, and when two people are meant to be, the whole world becomes in sync as if it were just waiting patiently for this moment all along. The story of Paris and Bryan, great friends of ours,, can attest that love at first sight is more than just a cliche - it overtook them. From the moment they met along the seaside at Folly Beach, celebrating the birthday of a mutual friend, they became inseparable. Conversation flowed, the chemistry was magnetic, and both of them knew from that point forward their lives would never be the same. When the time came for the conversation about spending forever together, Paris chose an Aquamarine - a stunning rare light blue gemstone which not only reflected the oceanside romance that started it all, but coincidentally is also Bryan’s birthstone. Unlike the diamond engagement rings of many of her peers, Paris knew that her ring should be just as unique as the love between them.
Stories like these inspire us at Corneau Goldsmithing. It makes all of our pieces more than just a glittering embellishment, but a physical memento of a feeling.

Latest Custom Design By Michael
|
|
Custom design pieces challenge Michael each time he takes one on, because each story, each sketch, and each final product are unique to the piece before it. Our highlight for this month is a a artfully created ring and earring set resembling the Sun and Moon. The diamonds were given to Michael to create a custom piece from a locally recognized artist. The diamonds, originally from a beloved watch of her grandmothers, was transformed into a bold, contemporary creation. The sparkling fire of the diamonds creates the glisten for the Sun and Moon.
