Join the South Metro Chorale for this free concert celebrating all the things we love about the holidays, and that which also brings us the most stress: food, family, travel, and gift-giving.

Saturday, December 8th, 1:00-2:30pm 
Savage Library

In this free class for adults, you will learn to weave a Nordic-inspired reindeer, using basket weaving reeds and techniques. You will complete at least one reindeer to decorate your home or give as a gift.  All supplies provided.  Registration required.

Giant Wash Coin Laundry

Do you have a legal question or concern?  Here's your chance to do your laundry while talking to an attorney from the Volunteer Lawyers Network.  Drop by the Scott County Library's "Wash & Learn" mini-library, located in the Giant Wash Coin Laundry at 401 1st Avenue W. in Shakopee. Your  free consultation can be conducted in either English or Spanish.

New Prague Library

Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS) will be offering free Wills and Health Care Directives for seniors on a fixed income. These documents will be prepared by SMRLS attorneys. Registration is required for the free Will service.

This is an opportunity, offered every Monday, to come to Room 102 in the Scott County Government Center and talk to an attorney about your victimization. She can advise you about orders for protection (domestic violence), harassment orders and more. This is a walk-in clinic so just stop by and talk to Monica.

Every 2nd Thursday, 5:00-7:00pm 
Savage Library

The South Metro Chapter of SCORE presents FREE, confidential small business counseling, coaching and mentoring once a month. Pre-registration is required.

Every 2nd Monday, 4:00-6:00pm
Law Library

The Scott County Law Library is offering a FREE 30-minute consultation with a volunteer family law attorney. This clinic is only for people with family law issues. These issues include divorce, custody, child support and parenting time. This clinic is NOT for persons currently represented by an attorney. Pre-registration is required.

As top universities like MIT and Harvard offer popular courses online at no cost, and websites like Khan Academy, and Coursera have built solid reputations, education online is more dynamic than ever before. Some platforms offer the opportunity to earn certificates of completion, and there are even ways to translate your learning to college credit. This workshop will provide participants with an overview of popular, free, online learning platforms so you can start exploring the endless opportunities for online learning. Bring your own laptop or device if possible.  Registration begins 12/18/18.

Elko New Market Library

Discover how to use open source resources such as WordPress to develop a free or inexpensive website for your small business, community organization, nonprofit, or blog. Learn how to set up a mobile-friendly site, how to navigate settings, and offer tips on how to generate traffic. If possible, please bring your own laptop or device.  Registration begins 1/5/19.
