Wichita Wurlitzer
December 2018
Wichita Wurlitzer Associates
Last spring, a group of eight sponsors generously donated for the May show to be free. Beginning November 19, 2018, Wichita Wurlitzer Associates was announced. The goal for 2018-2019 donations is $15,000 and 100 Sponsors.
Five giving levels are available - Friend ($25), Patron ($100), Sponsor ($250), Benefactor ($500), and Console ($1,000). Wichita Wurlitzer, Inc. is a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
Send your check payable to Wichita Wurlitzer to 2475 N Greenleaf St, Wichita, KS 67226-1535. You will receive a donation receipt.
The $15,000 will provide funds to assist with the spring 2019 shows and cover the 2019 Riverfest show currently being planned. The Riverfest show funding allows people to attend using only a Riverfest button. Wichita Wurlitzer staff is all volunteer so all funds are used for artists, instrument maintenance, and other show costs.
Several people have already sent a donation. Return letters have acknowledged these gifts.
Future gifts will fund extras such as video and projection screens, maintenance for ongoing shows, student programs, and other activities to introduce more people to the Wichita Wurlitzer.
Donations between July 1 and June 30 each year will determine the giving level. Make your donation before the end of the year for a 2018 tax deduction. Donor's names will be published in show programs and other media.
