A Note From Mrs. Yacek
Good Afternoon LRES Families,

We were so happy to welcome our Kindergartners this week! Thank you to all of our parents for your continued support during this time.

A few quick things I wanted to share in regards to school and communication. First, any families that want to send in treats for birthday celebrations, they will need to be individually wrapped, store bought treats. Be sure to check with the classroom teacher regarding any food allergies. Secondly, Please be sure to use the drop off line in the morning. We need families to stay in their cars so that we can conduct screenings as quickly as possible. 

Lastly, I will continue with my Friday phone calls, but they will not be weekly. With the limit to changes in our daily schedules and postponed PTO events, there is not much to be shared on a weekly basis. With that being said, if there is a change to the daily/weekly schedule for the upcoming week or events are taking place, I will be sure to make a Friday phone call. I am so happy to hear that families look forward to them!
Hybrid Families
It is important that students bring the work they completed on their remote days, to school the next day. This is how classroom teachers justify attendance and mark students present during remote days (until we all have computers and are using google classroom on a regular basis). 

Grades 2 and 3 have shared updated Choice Boards for remote learning days. They are included here.

Next materials pick up will be Friday, Sept.25th between 1pm-2pm. After this pick up, we will schedule them every other Friday.

Get Those Smiles Ready!!
Picture Day is on October 14 & 15

Students will have picture day on the day they are in school (Oct. 14th A Day students, Oct.15th B Day students, and we will create a schedule for Full Remote students to be included on those 2 days-schedule will be shared soon). We will have two cameras to photograph students outside. Class photos will not be taken this year. Photographers will wear PPE equipment and stay socially distant at all times.

School Board Information

Regular School Board meetings are typically held the first and third Wednesday of each month throughout the school year in the Raymond High School Media Center. Our next meeting will be held on September 16 at 6:00 pm.
