Over 100 turned out for our Innovation Café on September 20, hosted by Marquette University.
Dr. Rachel Cheatham delivered a powerful presentation on Food Industry Metatrends and each of our new FaBcap Accelerator companies were introduced. Things got really interesting when we moved into café conversation mode and explored what it would mean for our companies if we were recognized as the
Silicon Valley of Foodby the year 2025.
Bottom line, many of the characteristics of Silicon Valley were embraced, in particular its collaborative yet competitive nature and its reputation as being a leader of innovation and investment. But the vision stopped there.
It came back to our Wisconsin pride, authenticity, and our notable industry ecosystem from farm to factory to fork that sets us apart. And we have FaB.
Taking a lead from Foxconn, what if we proclaimed ourselves to be the
Wiscon Valley of Food and Beverage? Join us on LinkedIn to chime in.
Meet
Val Ratz, the newest member of the FaB Team as our Membership & Marketing Manager. Val interned with us back in 2016 and we are thrilled to have her join us full time. Val is a graduate of Alverno College with a B.S. in Marketing Management.
Welcome back, Val!
