Semester 1 Exams Schedule
S
emester 1 Final Exams will be held the week of Dec. 17th through 21st.
Please review the attached Exam Schedule with your student. Students taking traditional elective exams will be receiving a form to complete during the school day. This will ensure they set up an appropriate time to sit for their finals in their elective classes. Since the Final Exam impacts the overall Semester Grade (that shows up on students' final transcripts), it is imperative students are here each day, ready to go. Please reach out to your student's teacher with any questions.

December IB Students of the Month
The International Baccalaureate program aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. Every month each of our teachers will now nominate a student from their classes that has gone above and beyond in representing the IB Mission Statement and the values we try to instill in our students each day.
Congratulations to the December Students of the Month:
Claire Shames, Shayna Guerra, Megan Hsu, Sophia Kurilla, Rafael Toranzo, Sophia Bailey, Shota Konno, Noah Reed, Emily Kauget, Alessio Casamento, Alden Boussy, Bella Guerra, Nina Isern, Jocelyn Campo, Julie Nguyen, Elizabeth Wertz, and Esha Babu. We're proud of you!

IB Administration's Parent Survey - Semester 1
At Robinson IB we believe that two
combined
influences make a greater impact than just two
individual
influences. Therefore, we are always looking for ways to partner with our families so we can better serve our students. Because we recognize that parents have an inside look into their children's needs beyond what we see on a given school day, we invite you to take a few minutes to complete this survey. Since we want to collect the most honest opinions, all feedback we receive is COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS. We ask that you be candid with your opinions and let us know how we can best meet the needs of your child and your family!

Coffee Talk: "IB 101" Recap
Last week's Coffee Talk was an opportunity for Mr. Johnson and Mrs. George to answer questions for parents regarding the IB curriculum. The progression of coursework was discussed with an explanation of when and how students will choose their courses for the upcoming year. Mrs. George and Mr. Johnson will be going into classrooms to talk with students about selecting their classes in the coming weeks. For those that were unable to attend the Coffee Talk last week, inserted below is a sample of the programming sheets your students will be receiving. More communication will be coming out when programming is officially underway.

Help for Students
As we are now a quarter of the way through the school year, hopefully students have been able to find a rhythm to their course load. We know juggling school and outside activities can be a little tricky; therefore, we've created a Need Help? Flyer for you and your student. The Need Help? Flyer (which looks great on a refrigerator by the way!) lists all of the helpful resources available through Robinson and the IB program. In addition to all of the great information, you will see a new schedule for ELP (Extended Learning Program) available each day for FREE after school.
