On Sunday we introduced our year long emphasis —
Who’s Your One?
We are asking each of you to choose one person that you will share the gospel with over the course of the next year. Many of you already turned in your commitment cards while others are praying for the Lord to reveal to them who that one should be. If you didn’t turn a card in on Sunday you will have an opportunity to do so on Sunday mornings throughout January.
We had a great turnout for our
Night of Prayer
as we prayed for the folks we will share Christ with. For the next 30 days we ask you to commit to praying for you “One”. Prayer guides were included in the bulletin on Sunday and a daily prayer reminder and point of emphasis will be posted on our Facebook page.
When you commit to Who’s Your One, you are committing to the following 5 steps:
1.Ask God to help you
IDENTIFY
who your one ought to be.
2.
INTERCEDE
for your one by praying they are receptive and respond positively to the gospel.
3.Make
INVESTMENTS
in your one by creating connection points for relationship building
.
4.Be
INTENTIONAL
about taking opportunities to have spiritual conversations with your one.
5.Share the gospel with your one
and give them an
INVITATION
to follow Jesus as Savior.
You and I all know people who need Jesus. Let’s be committed to being fishers of men and not just keepers of the aquarium. I know you can do it!
