Weekly Director Letter 04/09/2021
Dear Parents,
What an EGGceptional week we had at Kids For Kids. Our students had a magnificent time finding eggs on our playground. Since we could not have parents on-site, we took a little video. Unfortunately, we could not get Green and Red Door in the video, but I hear those teachers have done an amazing job sending you photos. Click here to see the video:

Thankfully due to the kind words of so many parents, our school is currently on a waiting list. A few spaces remain for summer in our younger rooms and a few for fall. If you have a sibling that will be joining us next year please let us know asap while we have a few spaces left. Just a reminder the second three $80 registration installments will be billed to all families on April 19th.

As we prepare for summer, we want to make sure we have plenty of staff on hand. Children who will be completing VPK in June, as well as Kindergarten and First Graders, can opt to come as many weeks as they wish as their contract ends with the school year. Those families are asked to indicate on the chart outside my window the weeks they will be in and the weeks they will be out.

All other families are permitted to take 2 weeks off over the summer as long as we know those weeks by MAY 1. You will also find lists for those families outside my window. Please mark OUT for the 2 weeks you wish to be off. If you plan to attend ALL SUMMER with no time off, please circle the word NONE next to your child's name.

It is important that all families do this so that we can assess our numbers and schedule out staff for their vacations and also so that you are not billed times you will not be attending. Please make every effort to complete this task NO LATER than May 1, the sooner the better though.

Finally, I want to thank everyone for their Birthday wishes this week. There is no place I would rather be than here on my birthday....this is my happy place. I thank my staff for the flowers, treats, class serenades, and cards.

I also thank everyone who donated to my Birthday Fundraiser to Live Like Bella in memory of Madison Schafer, a little angel who attended here and died of brain cancer. I will have the fundraiser open for another week. So far $1061 has been raised of the $2,000 goal. If each family donates just $5 to honor each healthy child in their life, we can make a huge difference in the life of a child with cancer.
