Snoqualmie Valley Schools   Construction Update
Mount Si High School Construction Progress
Progress on construction of the new Mount Si High School is continuing at an impressive pace, to be ready to serve students and staff next fall. The project remains on time and on budget. Below are snapshots from the past two months, of developments  in and around the new campus . (Refer to the site map at the bottom of the page for the areas designated A-H for construction purposes.)

Windows have been in stalled in the front of the new gymnasium.
Windows have been installed in the front of the new gymnasium (Area F).
The foyer of the new gymnasium will display a large depiction of Mount Si.
Massive duct work is ready for installation.
The ventilation system is being installed in the gym's high ceiling.
Garage doors were installed in the shop area, creating a flexible space for the CTE program (Area C).

A wall of windows in the Media Center will offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains (Area D).

Students can look forward to a bright, spacious weight room. Interior windows  (at right) connect an adjoining hallway.

Miles of electrical wiring and networking  cable will power the new school.
Colorful cables are delivered 
in huge spools.
The front reception area and administrative offices of the Freshman Building are taking shape (Area A).
Whiteboards, wall covering, lighting, and cabinets have been
 installed  in this classroom.
Concrete has been poured to create 
new stadium entry stairs.
Also, this ADA-compliant ramp entrance will help ensure access for all to the stadium.
An inner courtyard leading from the parking garage to Area C, offers terraced planters and a unique space for students to gather.
Looking at the same courtyard, after steps have been poured and glass windows added to Area D.
Walls have been painted and cabinets installed in this science lab.
The outside platform between buildings
 (see Area B) will also have exterior planters and seating areas.

Per the site map rendering, 
areas A-F are currently under construction and will be ready to students in the fall of 2019. Areas G-H represent the new Performing Arts Center set to open January 2021.
