The York Region Eco Team was founded by Gary and Gina Semeniuk in February 2012 and they have lived and worked in Georgina since 1991. Gary and Gina pride themselves in being more than realtors, "we are lifestyle consultants that have a passion for helping people achieve their real estate dreams".

They were motivated to start their real estate company after seeing the residential growth in Georgina and envisioning the future potential of the area. Gary and Gina were also inspired by their client's needs, their goal is to "create a real estate service that is cutting edge. We invest in our clients through technology, reach, professionalism, award winning service and knowledge". Their understanding of the area allows them to work efficiently with the Town of Georgina, Lake Simcoe Conservation Authority and other government agencies associated with the community's unique lifestyle.

Their favorite part of their job is the "ability to treat every client like we do our own family." They offer additional a la carte services such as staging, cleaning, renovations and access to their network of tradesmen through their app "Homekeepr". Moving forward the York Region Eco Team will also provide their clients with modern tech add-ons such as drone footage and enhanced social media marketing campaigns.

Gary and Gina are working on growing their team to increase their client care service as well as adding lending and financial professionals. They would like to grow to over 10 staff members and expand their location.

BUSINESS & MARKETING TIPS

How many times do you politely leave a restaurant after a bad experience, vowing never to return, without letting the manager know what you think?

How often have you stopped buying from a brand you once trusted without telling them why?

How valuable would your feedback be, if only these companies were in the habit of asking for it?

It's hard to ask questions that elicit useful feedback. Fear about the response we might get holds us back because suggestions inevitably make work for us. The trick to making feedback actionable is to ask a specific question of the right people at the right time.

You don't need everyone's opinion about everything to improve your product, service or business. But it's important to ask the people who matter questions about the things you are willing to change.
