Message from the CEO Tell us what you think: It’s week three of the consultation period with members of HISA and ACHI on the proposal to unite and form a new organisation and we are receiving some great feedback. Thank you to everyone who has already completed the online survey to share their thoughts on the proposed organisation. At the first webinar last week, members brought up some good questions which were answered by HISA Chair Dr David Hansen and ACHI President Angela Ryan. You can read those questions and answers on the consultation page . The next face-to-face consultation events are in Sydney on Monday 20 May and in Brisbane on Thursday 23 May and everyone is welcome to attend. Stay up to date on the consultation program by visiting the HISA or ACHI web page.  I am pleased to announce the South Australia branch is re-launching following a successful call for nominations to the committee. Members welcome! Save the date for the re-launch event on Thursday 4 July from 6pm -7.30pm, venue to be confirmed.

Health Data Analytics EOI closing soon The Call for Abstracts for Health Data Analytics 2019 closes on 19 May, so we want to hear from you! HDA19 is Australia's premier health data event and your opportunity to share your research, stories and implementation successes. Registration is also open for the event in Sydney October 16-17.

WHO global consultation update Australia's digital health community will have a voice as the World Health Organization undertakes its global consultation on digital health. HISA has officially submitted your feedback gathered by survey last month. Thank you to everyone who took part and provided their expertise for HISA's submission.

CXIO Network grand round South Brisbane Increasing our digital readiness This grand round at Mater Hospital is on preparing to transform to a digital health care environment and will be facilitated by Dr Kevin Humphrey. Speakers include David Kempson, Prof Keith McNeil, Patricia Liebke and Dr George Margelis. This event is free and you do not have to be a CXIO or a network member to register. HISA QLD - Clinical UX - Focused on delighting User Experience (UX) in health has always been important but more so now with digital transformation of healthcare.
