Exposure Basketball Events app
GVBL is going "digital" and has signed up with Exposure Basketball Events! Simply download the Exposure Basketball Events app for either Android or Apple and type GVBL in the search field. You will find all divisions, schedules, rosters and standings for quick and easy reference. You can "follow" your teams and receive reminders via SMS or email. As this is the first season we are using it, we welcome your feedback. Please let us know if you find any mistakes, misspellings, etc. You will continue to find all information on the GVCO website as well.
Junior Hoopsters
Junior Hoopsters is designed to introduce pre-K & kindergarten (4-6 year olds) girls and boys to the game of basketball. GVBL will teach the kids the basic fundamentals of the game through fun drills and games. Session I begins on December 4th.

GVBL HS League - STARTS TODAY
The season will begin on December 3rd & 5th with OPEN GYMS from 5:30-7:00 at GVMS. Games will be played at GVMS on Monday & Wednesday evenings 5:30-9:30 pm beginning December 10th. The season will end with a single elimination championship tournament in early March. There are NO practices. 

GVBL Tournament Teams
4th Grade Boys
The 4th grade boys season officially tipped off this past weekend, with two powerhouse teams. The boys are in the process of learning zone defense and adjusting to 10ft rims, but they played hard and showed a lot of heart. The Great Valley Knights (black) lost 29-10 to the SS PP Reapers and Great Valley Raiders (orange) lost 30-16 to the CBA Lions.
4th Grade Girls
The Storm and Hurricanes got their season started! The Storm had a 33-4 victory vs Villa and the Hurricanes lost to the Media Ballers 10-6. Both teams had very solid defensive games and look forward to their game next Sunday vs Springfield.

5th Grade Girls
Lightning played their first Malvern League game. They won 28-6! The girls played hard and had fun! 
6th Grade Boys
The 6th grade boys had all three teams in action yesterday in the Malvern League. The Red team won an exciting game in OT! The White team won a good game as well. The Blue team lost a tough one. All three teams look forward to their games next weekend. 

6th Grade Girls
The Titans will play their first Malvern League games this weekend.

7th Grade Boys
The Blitz played their first Malvern League game yesterday. Their next Malvern League game is Sunday.

8th Grade Boys
The Wildcats opened their Malvern League season with a tough loss in OT against the Delco Venum 41-39. The boys played both offense and defense as a true team. Way to go Wildcats!

8th Grade Girls
The Crush played their first game of the CES King of the Court tournament and their first Malvern League game.
GVMS
The GVMS girls basketball teams play at home this week - Wednesday against Scott and Friday they take on Patton.

The 8th grade boys team has been selected. The final selections of the 7th grade boys team should be made today.
GVHS
GVHS Girls & Boys Basketball
The girls took a trip to watch Villanova defeat the Princeton Tigers. The team had a great time and was well represented during a time out shootout between GVHS players Tessa Liberatoscioli and Bailee Magee! On 11/29 the GVHS Girls scrimmaged Garnet Valley High School.

The GVHS Boys scrimmaged against Cheltenham on 11/28. Their next scrimmage is on Tuesday at Penncrest and the first Varsity games are next Friday and Saturday at the Twin Valley Tournament. The GVHS Boys Online Store is open until December 9th. See below for GVHS program sponsorship opportunities.
