ear parents and guardians,
Teacher Appreciation Week is a time set aside by the district to communicate the limitless commitments teachers have made to educate, support and ease this difficult time for students and the community. A great example of this was the historic, spirit-lifting parade they conducted yesterday throughout our community.
Today, we encourage you to ask your children to pick a teacher who has made a deep and lasting impression on them during their educational journey. Please consider sending a thoughtful email to a teacher who has meaningfully transformed your own educational experience. For many, there will be more than one teacher fitting this description. That’s wonderful. If that is the case, we encourage you to write as many emails as possible.
Today in our teachers corner we are highlighting a video from our own Mr. Anthony Stirpe entitled,
Teacher Talk: Nice to Hear from You
. It explains that there are many ways to communicate a message, including a podcast or a voice recording. As you think of sending a message to a teacher today, consider sending it in your own voice.
Sincerely,
