Children's Ministry Update
Trick-or-Treat Faith Filled Event All children and adults are invited to wear their costumes to church on Sunday, October 28. (Please no masks, weapons or swords.) During 9:30 Sunday School time, the children will decorate treat bags in the Fellowship Hall. Adults are invited to decorate classroom doors and hand out nut-free, kid-friendly treats. (supplies provided by the adults.) The trick or treating begins at 10:00 and ends at 10:25. If you do not   attend Sunday School and would like to participate, please reach out and we can assign you a door to decorate! Best decorated door wins "The Golden Pumpkin Award," voted by the children. Email Pam Hegedus for more information. 

Club 3:16 has started collecting new underwear & socks for their service project, “Toes & Tushies” for the month of October. Donation bins are placed at both entrances of the church! Please mark your calendars ~ Club 3:16’s next meeting will be on Sunday, October 14 at 10:30 during Wiggle Worship time. Special guest speakers, Kirk and Krista Sipe from “Not Here Ministries”.

Nursery Caregiver Needed
Huntersville UMC Children’s Ministry is seeking a part-time nursery caregiver for Sunday mornings 8:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. and Sunday evenings 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  We are looking for someone who can create a safe and nurturing environment for children newborn to 4 years old. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, consent to a background check and be Safe Sanctuary trained. They must be able to show Christ-like love and patience. If you know of anyone who may be interested, please share this information. Email Dana Belcher with questions and applications/resumes.
Praxis Student Ministry Update
  • This Sunday, October 7 is "First Serve Sunday." The students will be serving our neighbors in the Deer Hill Community.
