There will be themed
story telling
throughout the day. This month the book is The Scarecrow that didn't scare by Neil Griffiths.
Farmer Wallace had been very busy making this year's scarecrow and was sure it would do a good job!
But, as spring and summer arrived, the woodland creatures took no notice of the scarecrow and weren't frightened at all as they nibbled at the green shoots and ripening corn. What would the farmer do when he returned to view his harvest?
And since it is Autumn, our
science experiment will be
catching leaves
in our special
wind tent.
