Plainfield Connectors to Operate on Weekends
The North and South Plainfield Connectors, a service of Central Indiana Regional Transportation Authority (CIRTA), has started running on the weekends in addition to their normal weekday schedules. This comes in response to the high demand for workers during the holiday season. The fare is $1 per one-way trip, with the first pick up scheduled at 5:15 am. For more information, click here.
INDOT to Receive a Large Federal Build Grant for I-65
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will be receiving a multi-million dollar grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation for the I-65 Mobility and Access Project. The work aims to modify four interchanges along I-65 within Boone County to minimize heavy congestion and to support growth in Whitestown and the surrounding area. Learn more here.
Plainfied/Guilford Township Transit Survey Now Open
Local leaders are trying to gauge the public's perspective on transit in Plainfield and Guilford Township through a survey. The survey will be open until December 12. Access the survey here.
Staff Spotlight: Anita Bjork
Office manager Anita Bjork was born and raised in Midland, Michigan, an eclectic and inclusive community that also is home to Dow Chemical Co. As a child in the sports-oriented town, she walked to school or rode her bike. As an adult, she loves the arts. Learn more about Anita here.
