Infographic: Value-Based Purchasing For Children And Youth With Special Health Care Needs

The Catalyst Center has created a one-page infographic illustrating important elements of value-based purchasing for children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN). This infographic provides an brief explanation of value-based purchasing and explains the need for further research in the field of value-based purchasing for CYSHCN.

This is part of a series of infographics exploring key focus areas in the world of health care financing and coverage for CYSHCN. These one-pagers are a visually appealing and easy way to share information about the system of care for CYSHCN with stakeholders. Resources for further exploration about value-based purchasing  for CYSHCN  are listed at the bottom of the infographic.

Upcoming Webinar: CARE Award- Family Partners for Better Care

On Tu esday, December 18th at 2:30 PM (ET), join the Children's Hospital Association for a webinar about better care through family partnerships. This webinar will focus on how families are essential partners to provide better care for children with medical complexity. Children's National Health System will discuss the development of a parent navigator model and use of telehealth for virtual home visits. Children's Hospital Colorado will explore understanding care needed and integrating social risk assessment into family profiles.

Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs: Family Navigator Story Wall

The Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs (AMCHP) shared a new update to the State Public Health Autism Resource Center (SPHARC) Family-Professional Partnership learning module webpage, the "Family Navigator Story Wall." This interactive story wall features a half dozen family navigators' stories on their experience supporting families as they access comprehensive systems of care for children with special health care needs.
