Message from the CEO
As 2019 shapes up to be one of our biggest and busiest years in HISA history, it’s only right our young and emerging digital health leaders and students are given an active voice. We will soon be launching our newest initiative, a special interest group for the health informatics leaders of the future.

We will build a strong student community across Australia so they can share information and knowledge, network and find mentors, as well as provide a unique viewpoint into our vision for the future of healthcare. The mission: “ To engage, educate, represent and support all Australian students and emerging professionals with an interest in health informatics and digital health .”

I’d like to thank student member and volunteer David Wang, a medical student from the University of Melbourne, for his leadership in bringing this to fruition. Great job David! Watch this space for official launch details in the next few months.
