Roslyn Public Schools
SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
Dear Roslyn Families,

It has come to our attention that some of you may not have received the email below when it was first sent out; therefore we are resending it to everyone in the district.

I know that many of you have been waiting patiently for the 20-21 Roslyn School District calendar to arrive. Due to the changing nature of the times we are living in, printing was delayed until certain events could be confirmed. We now expect it to ship within the next few weeks, however, I ask that you please keep in mind that the calendar is subject to change at any time. Prior to its delivery, you can access it on the district website by clicking here. Please note that all events on the calendar will be virtual until further notice.

Please be advised that on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, Roslyn Schools will host a district wide Full Remote Learning Day. This means that with the exception of seniors taking the SAT, and BOCES and Cultural Arts students, all other K-12 students will participate in school from home. Additionally, please note that teachers will be providing instruction from a remote location. This is being done to allow the district a practice day to troubleshoot unforeseen issues that may arise, should the district need to fully shut down at a later date.

Only seniors taking the SAT on September 23rd will have access to the building. Buses will not be provided for seniors. The bus schedule for BOCES and Cultural Arts students will not be affected.

Sincerely,

Allison Brown
Superintendent of Schools
