I would like to congratulate the FHHS Marching Band for winning the 2018 Super State Championship at ASU on November 17th. As I watched our kids perform, I was blown away by the music and the attention to detail. They performed at the highest level and competed against several of our big school neighbors. Competing against 6A, 5A, and 4A schools, the Fighting Flock of Falcon Fury made school history. Watching the students await the results, and seeing their pure joy as they found out they won, was priceless. I want to thank Lynn Truby and James Morales for all their hard work and dedication to the band program. I also would like to thank the Band Boosters for the amount of work they do to assist the program. Most of all, I want to thank the students for representing FHHS at the highest level. Upon return to campus the following Monday, the band played through the halls and students and staff cheered them on. Congratulations to the entire program on an amazing accomplishment!
