This week's service will feature a video of a powerful address by Brittany Packnett from the 2018 UU General Assembly. Brittany was invited to deliver the Ware Lecture because of her impressive work as an educator, organizer, writer, speaker, and leader in social justice. The focus of her comments is the long and still ongoing history of white supremacy in the United States and the long shadow that it continues to cast upon us as a nation and as a society.

Interfaith Summer Solstice Labyrinth Walk at the UU Labyrinth

We invite you to the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Burlington's Community Interfaith Labyrinth for a time of quiet introspection and shared celebration marking the longest day of the year. The gathering will begin with an invocation and blessing. Members of the UU Labyrinth Ministry will lead the Labyrinth walk. All are welcome.

A memorial service will be held at FUUSB on Saturday, June 22 at 1 p.m. for longtime member Bunny Wilkening, who passed away on January 20. Rev. Susan will lead the service.

First UU 4th of July Community BBQ

Thanks to the generous folks who offered up their grills, the first ever annual First UU 4th of July Community BBQ is on! The primary goal of this BBQ is community building, so the best thing you can do is show up and welcome our Old North End neighbors and Burlington friends who have come to share this meal with us. And if you're able, please consider
signing up to help with set up, clean up, or to bring a salad. And there'll be plenty of ways you can help out while you're there - working a grill or helping to serve food. One of our BBQ organizers will help you find a job you can help with for part of your time at the BBQ and you can spend the rest of your time enjoying the meal and meeting new friends.
Please join us from 4 to 6 p.m. on July 4th here at the First UU Meeting House. Rain or shine!

JUMP has run out of toilet paper! Literally every client walks away with a roll or two of our donated TP. The supply has finally dwindled down to nothing so we need to pick up the pace. Even if you aren't a regular at summer services, please consider stopping by with a case of TP during the week this summer. Our TP delivery people will make sure it gets to JUMP. Thank you!
