I hope that your 2020 is off to a great start. I know I probably sound like a broken record, but the pace that defines our world at WSI continues to be best described as a blur. It's been non-stop since last August and will not slow down until sometime in April. Business is great.
As you'll see from the photos that are included in this WSI Play-By-Play, our clients have been taking some very nice animals over the last several weeks. We have fully transitioned from what we consider to be our fall schedule into our winter routine, largely focusing on nilgai antelope, free-range aoudad sheep, and an assortment of other exotics. Our bookings are off to a fabulous start with a very tight calendar over the next few months and a fall schedule that is already active with many of our hunts.
I had the opportunity to recently spend a few days at the Dallas Safari Club Convention. As usual, the show did not disappoint. First, my hat is tipped to the staff and volunteer team at DSC for orchestrating what is arguably the most amazing hunting, outdoor, and conservation show on the planet. Larry Weishuhn roped me in to doing a little volunteer work while I was there and I'm glad that he did. Not only did this allow me to meet some great people, but it also allowed me to contribute to a cause that I believe in and one that is yielding a positive outcome for hunters and for the future of wildlife conservation. Also, it appeared that the energy level was high among attendees and it looked like people were spending money and doing what hunters like to do...scheduling hunting trips and purchasing hunting gear, and that's a good thing!
Better get back on the phone and return calls that need to be returned. Please let us know if we can assist you in any way
