It's December!
Yeah, I wrote the date today and it started with a "12" . I hope you all enjoyed a relaxing Thanksgiving. Sophomore Parents maybe not so much (Geography Fair is FRIDAY!). We are crammin' in a bunch of stuff between now and Christmas Break, so buckle up and read on . . .
Choir Christmas Concert TUESDAY
Give yourself (and your family) an early Christmas gift and head to our Christmas Choir Concert TUESDAY, December 3 at 7:00 p.m. in our auditorium.

Go ahead and save these additional Music Saints dates:
Thursday, December 12, 7:30 p.m.: Christmas Instrumental Concert
Saturday, December 14, 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.: Annual Music Saints Fundraiser at Barnes and Noble in Bloomington
Ugly Sweater Day THURSDAY
We are shooting our annual Christmas video on THURSDAY, December 5 and all students are asked to wear an ugly Christmas sweater if possible. It's a dress down day for anyone who wears a sweater (same as Finals Week: dress comfortably, keeping modesty in mind). It's a regular uniform day for anyone who doesn't dress in the Christmas spirit.
Geography Fair FRIDAY
FRIDAY, December 6 is our Geography Fair and our sophomores have been working all school year to show you a part of our world. If you'd like to check it out, visitors are welcome from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in our Commons. A special note to freshmen parents: Come, check it out if you can so you know what to expect BUT keep in mind that this has been accomplished over the course of our school year, otherwise it can be overwhelming. Stay strong Sophomores (and their parents)!

NOTE FOR ALL PARENTS: Since the cafeteria is also where lunch is served, there will be no in-school lunch FRIDAY. Freshmen, Juniors and Seniors have Open Lunch and can bring a sack lunch, snack on the Geography Fair food (snack, not hoard), or they can leave campus. Anyone who leaves campus must be back in time for the start of 8th Hour (1:06 p.m.). Sophomores can either bring a sack lunch or have lunch delivered for them.
Black Light Dance SATURDAY
Our annual Black Light Dance is SATURDAY, December 7 from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. in our Commons. Tickets are $10 and are on sale during lunch. The cost includes a plain white t-shirt that can be decorated in black light-friendly colors but cannot be cut or torn. If the t-shirt is cut or torn, the student will have an option to purchase a new t-shirt for $5 or be sent home. There is no need for "dates" or elaborate asks for this dance, just come on out and have fun!
Living The Faith Hours Due In A Week
Second Quarter Living The Faith Hours are due Monday, December 9. Here is more information about our Living the Faith Program.
It's Cyber Monday,

Lunch may also be ordered to be delivered to the school and paid for on delivery by the student(s). (Please remind your student to tip the delivery person). Often times, a group will go in together to place an order. Students are also welcome to go get food and bring it back to school to eat while they get in some last minute studying.
  • Dress Code: For a $5.00 donation, a Dress Code pass may be purchased and used for all three days of Finals.
