Traveling

Blurring Boundaries:
The Women of American Abstract Artists, 1937-Present

Blurring Boundaries, curated by Rebecca DiGiovanna, will travel to venues in the United States through 2020. The first two stops on the exhibition tour are:
. October-November at the Clara M. Eagle Gallery of Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky
. November-December at the Ewing Gallery of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville
. Publication of a catalog and additional exhibition dates will be announced.

American Abstract Artists is a historic group that remains vital and active today. For this exhibition, the women members of the group have been invited to show painting, sculpture, and work on paper with a linear sensibility.

Swipe, 2016, a scribed painting in oil and wax on prepared paper, 30 x 22 inches, will be shown framed

This solo exhibition, my ninth with the gallery, features new paintings with a bisected field. The horizontal is not a divider so much as a means of bringing color together in chromatic conversation.
