One Step Away

VERY exciting news for you!
The “One Step Away Program” can help you make your comeback at HCC and earn your associate degree as soon as possible. One-on-one advising support will walk you through the re-admission process, get you scheduled for classes, and help with the financial aid process. Returning students may qualify for a scholarship that covers tuition and fees for your first class upon your return to Harford.

Enjoy Harford’s Home Basketball Season
You can watch some exciting college hoops close to home at HCC’s beautiful APGFCU Arena on campus. Our teams are having their most successful stretches in school history! The women have won four straight regular season and postseason conference titles and our men won the regular season and postseason conference championship last season.

Tickets for the Fighting Owls' 2018-19 basketball season are $10 at the door or $8 online at tickets.harford.edu ; children under 12 are free. These prices also include the Harford Hoops Classic set for December 19-21.

Holidays & History at Hays-Heighe
The Hays-Heighe House at Harford Community College blends the modern and historic to connect the present with the past. The College hosts exhibits and programs in this renovated 1808 structure to promote lifelong learning, community engagement, critical thinking, and historical and cultural understanding of local, national, and global issues.

The Unintended Consequences of the Treaty of Versailles
Thursday, December 6 | 12:30-2 PM

The College welcomes Michael Neiberg, Professor of History and Chair of War Studies at U.S. Army War College, who will discuss the implications of the armistice signing in November 1918. The fighting was over, but negotiations over the treaties to resolve World War I would drag on for many months. The resulting compromises satisfied no one. What would this mean for the role of the United States on the world stage? Reservations are strongly
