CARING FOR THOSE WHO CARE FOR US
MEMBER UPDATE | APRIL 7

Old Bridge Family YMCA Members,

Thanks for "Staying With Us"! We know these times are difficult for you, so we want to express our thanks for your continued support. Your membership continuation allows us to be responsive to the most urgent community needs.

Please know that you are literally helping to feed children and families, giving life to our most critical neighbors, supporting mental well-being through counseling and social services, conducting personal wellness checks on seniors and vulnerable populations, and promoting good health through Y @ Home virtual connections.

Hear from YMCAs throughout New Jersey who are doing much of the same, stepping up to help however we can and leveraging our collective strength to do our part in this crisis.

SPOTLIGHT ON
OUR Y MEMBERS

We really miss your faces, and we know you miss each other too. Send a photo or video to [email protected] of
ways you're being healthy, your family time, projects with kids, and we'll feature you in our weekly member spotlight.

Hello, Pat Richter! Thanks for sharing your helpful tips for staying healthy outside of your Y fitness routine:

>
Pretend you have an appointment for exercise every day, just like a zoom call for work, or doing laundry.
>
Take advantage of our great park system when the weather permits.
Avoid emotional eating and drinking alcohol
Get adequate sleep and limit TV watching to no more than 1.5 hours per day, with a day off once in a while.

WHEN YOU SUPPORT THE Y, YOU'RE SUPPORTING COMMUNITY!

Help us help our community with urgent needs including telehealth counseling, blood drives, food security, emergency child care and vital other services in response to this unprecedented health crisis. Thank you again, for sticking with us and with our community. We look forward to a time when we are stronger and healthier, together.
