Giving Tuesday is a movement to encourage a day of charitable giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season.  At The Caring Place we hope you support the causes that mean something to you during this season of giving.  And, we hope The Caring Place is on that list.   As an organization working to help those who struggle with basic human needs, we've discovered as our population grows, so do those needs.  We rely on our community each year to help our neighbors.  We hope that in 2018, you'll once again join our community of caring.

Giving Tuesday Stories...

Here are a few of the people who have overcome obstacles and found ways to improve the quality of their life with help from The Caring Place.

Jennifer Tate

Jennifer was our featured client at a recent event.  We asked her to share some ways The Caring Place has helped her and what it meant in her life.  Her story of coming to an unknown city with a plan that quickly unraveled is something many of us can relate to.  The reality is we can find ourselves in a situation where we suddenly need help.  You can read Jennifer's testimony on our blog...

Raymond Taylor

Mr. Taylor came to The Caring Place with a sense of urgency and a great many needs both health and material. His walk was unstable and his voice was a mere whisper due to his heart condition and the many medications he was taking. He explained that he'd been living with a relative in Temple over the last year as he recovered from a triple bypass, and only recently relocated to his hometown of Bartlett. He had a home he was renting from a relative. We quickly learned that Mr. Taylor was a man of grit and determination....

Mark Rzasa

Like so many people who come to The Caring Place for assistance, Mark found out about the organization by word of mouth. "My neighbor told me about The Caring Place. The Caring Place helped me with my rent and gave me groceries. I was able to keep a roof over my head. The Caring Place got me back on my feet," Mark said...

When you give to The Caring Place, you are directly impacting neighbors in need in Georgetown and northern Williamson County.  Our goal is to improve the quality of life for every client and you help us do that through your generous contributions.  Help us continue to touch lives in our community by donating HERE for Giving Tuesday and the Giving Season.
