November 2018  Edition

Dear Beloved,

Welcome to our November Newsletter. What a joy it is to get in touch with you again. I wonder if like me you sense the year is racing by and there still is much on your "to do" list for this year...!!

God continues to be amazing, and for this we are truly grateful.

Papa has been speaking about the Ministry of Reconciliation which He has entrusted to us. I pray you are blessed by it. We are excited to announce the dates for our Kingdom conference next year.
They are at the end August 2019, because of our elections (see flyer below). We hope you put these dates in your diaries and then send to all your contacts so they do the same. There are some secrets about it we are unable to disclose yet, but you definitely don't want to miss it. Reorganise your holidays to accommodate these dates if you have to. You have lots of time.

Enjoy the newsletter and give us any feedback you have.

RECONCILERS NEEDED!!!

A "reconciler" is a type of go-between, intercessor, intermediary or mediator, as defined by Google. This is someone who tries to make peace.

"But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We are told here that Jesus is our "Reconciler" and made peace between us and Father God. Christ reconciles us back to the Father for we had sinned and were not worthy to come close to a Holy God. Jesus declared (Ephesians 2:14) that He is our peace. However have we appropriated this sacrifice and are we walking as those who are reconciled and living an abundant life as heirs with Christ?

In 2 Corinthians 5:18-19, Paul speaks of us being those that have been given this ministry of reconciliation. To tell people they can have their hearts reconciled back to God. In the story of the paralytic in Mark 21:4, he needed both physical and spiritual reconciliation. He needed four friends to carry him and lower him through the roof in order to gain 'access' to Jesus; and his heart was also reconciled and he received the healing and forgiveness of sin that he required. Some of us are 'paralysed' by fear, doubt, unbelief, rejection, abandonment, distrust and other issues in our past. This keeps us in a place of spiritual apathy. We are saved, but unable to have an intimate relationship with our loving Father.

It's important for me to state here that we are not called to reconcile people to ourselves, but to God. When you try to reconcile people to ourselves, we are making ourselves, their source, and distorting their destiny. Paul encourages us to cling to Christ. To be involved in the ministry of reconciliation, your heart first has to be reconciled back to Father God. There has to be heart to heart engagement. This implies a close personal relationship and one of divine favour. It involves prioritising the things of God as number one. We can only do this if we love Him wholeheartedly as is the first command. To love is to serve one another. Only then, can you be one through whom God can reach others. It is a bit more than just the Alter Call. It involves following up on the "one" and then the "many" to ensure they enter into their destiny.

Papa is calling those who have been reconciled to Him to turn and help others around them who are struggling and seemingly disconnected. Papa is calling us forth to be ministers of reconciliation who are ready to put themselves down like a "bridge" so other people can walk over them, back into the open arms of Father God. Those in the ministry of reconciliation are those who see these people and come alongside, providing the help, encouragement, prayer support and prophetic utterances that may be needed to break them out of their stronghold or emotional paralysis and place them back in Father God's arms.

So look around you for all those who need to be reconciled. Invite them to conferences and to a church service where entering into the Presence of God is the hallmark. In the Presence, Father comes down to minister and to engage with willing hearts Himself. Let's be intentional about introducing God's people to Christ. Encourage them to deepen their understanding of His Word and who they are in Him through bible study. Help them get the revelation of their identity with Bethel Sozo.

We need the tangible experience of His Presence, His Power (healing) and we need to carry His love (heart). When people meet you, they are meeting Jesus the "Reconciler". The Jesus on the inside of you is who must be expressed rather than suppressed. Galatians puts it this way. "I no longer live, but Jesus Christ lives in me. This means that the life I now live, it is Jesus, who is living through me" (Galatians 2:20).

Bible Passage
2 Corinthians 5:17-21

17. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

18. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

19. that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

21. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
