NEW: Nominations Being Accepted for NAIA Student-Athlete of Character Award award

Nominations are now being accepted for the NAIA Collegiate Student-Athlete of Character Award. This award honors a student-athlete for a specific act of character exhibited during practice or competition from Jan. 1, 2018 through Dec. 31, 2018 and will be presented at the Champions of Character Foundation Luncheon on May 6, 2019. NEW: NAC Approves Senior Bowl Game bowl 

The NAC has approved a Senior Bowl football game, beginning in 2019. The game will feature NAIA senior all-star players as selected by NAIA coaches. The NAIA is seeking a host for the game scheduled for December 2019. NAIA football coaches will meet at the AFCA convention in January to determine the selection process for both players and coaches. NEW: New Dates Selected for Outdoor Track & Field Championships track

The NAC approved moving the date for the Outdoor Track & Field Championships beginning in 2020. The change will move the opening day of the championship forward one day to a Wednesday and will run through Friday. The change will provide significant housing travel savings to NAIA qualifying schools since the championships will no longer overlap Memorial Day Weekend.

NEW: 2019 Men's Basketball All-Star Game star

The NAIA Men's Basketball All-Star Game returns Tuesday, March 26,  as a part of a double header with the 2019 NAIA Men's Division I Championship game. The All-Star game will bring 30 of the top NAIA men's basketball players to Kansas City, MO to participate in the game. NAIA men's basketball coaches from both Divisions I and II can nominate players.  The deadline for nominations is Feb. 22, 2019.  Please contact Austin Bennett  with any questions.

NEW: Cross Country National Championships XC
 
Congratulations to the Oklahoma City University Stars who captured the NAIA Men's National Cross Country Championship for the fourth time in team history, beating Indiana Wesleyan by 27 points. Oregon Tech captured its first NAIA Women's National Cross Country Championship, edging out Madonna (Mich.) by three points.

The NAIA Office of Student-Athlete Development is excited to announce the newly developed online Student-Athlete Wellness Center. The webpage includes resources related to student-athlete development, mental health, concussions, the NAIA Academy, drug education and testing, and optimizing performance. The resources represent the most current medical information and evidence on factors affecting student-athlete wellness. Experience NAIA Championships App is Now Available app

The new Experience NAIA Championship app is now live! Launched in partnership with From Now On, the app will feature the NAIA Volleyball Championship beginning Nov. 27 and the NAIA Football Championship the first week of December. From Now On can also help schools drive fan and student engagement through fan loyalty rewards programs.
