VOLUNTARY STUDENT SURVEY RE: SENSITIVE TOPICS
LifeClinic Community Resource Center (Saginaw and Midland) has reached out to Valley Lutheran to provide faith-driven information and resources for community members for pregnancy and STI testing and treatment, parenting education and materials (clothes, diapers, wipes, formula, etc.), sexual trauma, sex-trafficking, abuse, or assault. As part of their work, they have made available to our students an anonymous & voluntary survey regarding student knowledge and interaction with these topics. The information collected by the survey will help LifeClinic tailor their resources more specifically to the VLHS community. Students are not required to complete the survey if they or you as parents are not comfortable.

SAGINAW CAREER COMPLEX
The sophomore class recently had the opportunity to learn more about the programs and opportunities offered to them through the Saginaw Career Complex. In late January and early February, SCC will be hosting events to give students an opportunity to explore programs on-site and to bring their parents to an open house. More information will be sent out in the new year. Students planning to attend SCC should meet with Mrs. Mueller to develop their academic plan to ensure that graduation credits are met while attending their CTE program.

7TH SEMESTER or MID-YEAR TRANSCRIPTS
Transcripts that include your student's first semester of their senior year will be available once grades are released. Some colleges request these as an update on their applicants. VLHS uses a program called Parchment to send documents electronically and securely directly from the school. Please submit all document requests through Parchment.
