Volunteers for Children’s Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Needed
Each week the Children’s Chapel program offers a liturgy of the Word for kids in grades PreK through Grade 5 at 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. The children gather in the chapel, connect with Scriptures and prayers, and return to the main church in time for Communion. We currently need volunteers to help at 11:00 a.m. No prep work needed, just your extra set of eyes and hands to keep things running smoothly. Bible Study: The Good Book Club
During Epiphany join other Episcopalians in reading part of the Gospel of John each day, and to finish it before Lent. Our own Mary Ann Blankenship will facilitate a discussion at 10:00 a.m. this Sunday in the library. Check out the daily readings and resources online at The Good Book Club.

Knit Wits Gathering begins Jan. 16
On the third Thursday of each month join others in the community who want to learn how to crochet and knit. Mark your calendar to attend not only January 16 but also February 20, March 19 and April 16. The Rev. Dr. Rebecca Branch-Griffen extends a warm invitation to Grace and Holy Trinity parishioners to join with her congregation, Hood Temple AME Zion Church, this Sunday, January 19, at 4:00 pm, to remember and celebrate the life and work of The Rev. Greater Richmond Children’s Choir at 11:00 a.m. on Feb. 2
The Greater Richmond Children’s’ advanced Pro Arte Choir will sing and lead the music at the 11:00 a.m. worship service on Sunday, February 2. GRCC offers children, ages 8 to 18, the opportunity to excel through the study and performance of high-quality choral music with Richmond’s finest vocal ensemble for youth. With generous support from our community and beyond, GRCC is able to offer tuition and travel scholarships to more than one-third of choristers, making the program accessible to all. Grace & Holy Trinity is blessed to be the rehearsal venue for GRCC. Please invite family and friends to this special worship service.

Brunswick Stew on Sale for Delivery on Feb. 2
The Missionary Society will again be selling Brunswick stew to be delivered on Super Bowl Sunday, February 2. They will be taking orders after each service starting this Sunday. Chuck Ashjan, a dedicated missionary volunteer and head of the Armenian food festival will be the stew chef this year. The cost of the stew will be $10 a quart. Questions? Piano Concert on Sat. Feb. 8 at 3:00 p.m.
Richard Becker, Coordinator of Piano Studies at the University of Richmond, will perform a piano concert on Saturday, February 8 at 3:00 p.m. The concert will be held in the parish hall. Richard will perform works by Beethoven, Chopin, and Liszt. There will be a reception following the concert. Please invite family and friends to this special concert in our series!

Come be Heard, Annual Meeting Feb.2 at 9:30 a.m.
At the Annual Meeting of the parish, church members will elect five new Vestry members. Unlike previous years, there are eleven candidates for the five positions. You can learn more about each person online . The Annual Meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. and voting will occur by paper ballot during it, so be sure to mark your calendar.
