There will be no Centering Prayer on Monday. On Tuesday morning at 8:00 am in the Parish Administrator’s office there will be a Morning Prayer service.

The Mary of Magdala Adult Ed Program is hosting the Sexual Assault Victims' Advocacy Center (SAVA) for an informative discussion, and we are all invited to attend and thereby show our concern about this issue and our support for survivors. Awareness and understanding are the first steps in initiating change.

Potluck Coffee Hour
Sunday, October 28 - following both the 8 am and 9 am services - we will try something new - a “Potluck Coffee Hour”. There is no sign up sheet - just bring something if you are inspired and feeling creative!
The theme is “Pumpkins and Apples”. Think pumpkin spice, apple spice, or...? Finger Foods only. Food should be ready to serve (already cut up and on a serving dish) Room temperature foods only (no refrigeration or heat will be available). Take any leftovers home with you (aka clean up after your own serving dish). Small paper plates and napkins will be available.

- Sunday, 11/11, and Saturday, 11/17 (at least 2 volunteers per evening);
Evening Hosts
- Wednesday, 11/14 (at least 2 volunteers)

- Monday, 11/12, Wednesday, 11/14, and Friday, 11/16 (at least 2 volunteers per evening).

Turkey Roundup for the Food Bank
Saturday, November 10 at 5:00 PM
Sunday, November 11 for each of the services all da
y.
Bring a "rock hard" frozen turkey, and, right before each of the services, look for the green Mazda pickup in the circle drive in front of the church. Len Russ of Mary of Magdala will be ready to receive your bird. The turkeys will then be given a ride straight to the Food Bank for Larimer County and placed into the big freezer.
They will be distributed to our less fortunate neighbors.
(If for any reason your turkey has softened or is no longer frozen, the food bank can not accept it.)
This annual event is celebrated at the Food Bank, which will hold its own roundup on November 14th. Last year, Mary of Magdala and Trinity Lutheran together collected 56 turkeys. This year, with St. Paul's contributing, we'll provide even more. A gift of thankfulness for everyone!
