• This Christmas season, our ministerial staff and deacon body will be visiting our special care members with a gift to wish them Merry Christmas.
• We will visit with them, bring Christmas Cards from the church membership, and deliver a gourmet Bundt cake.
• We plan to begin these visitations after Thanksgiving with approximately 12 special care members.
• If you would like to help in this project through visiting, sending a Christmas Card, or providing a Bundt cake please let Chase know.

• New Grow Groups will begin in January.
• We will continue our study of Acts with Dave Malick as well as offer a new group on “Gospel Centered Parenting".

• This Sunday, December 2nd, begins the Week of Prayer for International Missions.
• Each day you will receive an email update with stories of missionaries and the work they are doing to spread the Gospel Across the world. Please take a moment each day to pray for these missionaries & the work they are doing.
• We are also collecting our Christmas Offering for Global Missions. This offering is distributed to the International Mission Board and Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Global Missions to support missionaries & their work.
• Our goal this year is $10,000! Offering envelopes are provided in the pews and checks must be designated for “Global Missions Offering.” Gifts may be given online by designating the offering for “global missions” at riverchasebaptistchurch.org/giving

• This 1 night performance on Sunday, December 16th at 6pm will be here soon.
• Children of all ages are encouraged and welcome to participate. Costumes are provided and there are no practices.
• If you have questions or you’re ready to commit please contact Shannon Harper or 205-965-6343.
• Also, this year we will have a Crock Pot Luck Fellowship following the performance. We need 12-15 crockpots of soup or chili brought to the church that evening. The church will provide toppings, drinks, and bowls.
• Let Chase know if you are willing to provide a crockpot of soup or chili.

• Please plan to join us Sunday evening, December 9th at 6pm, as the Christmas Chorale and Orchestra present our cantata, "The Glory of Christmas”, by Lloyd Larson.
• A true celebration of the incarnation story of Christ, this musical work weaves together familiar carols with spellbinding original songs.
• Invite your neighbors and co-workers! 
• After the cantata, everyone is invited to a reception.
• Please bring a salty or sweet treat to share!
• Childcare provided.
