Parent/Teacher Conferences
Thursday, October 11th
4:00pm - 8:00pm
Drop-in format. No appointments needed.
Teachers will be asked to limit each conference to 10 minutes
Enter through Door 5
The EHS Fall Parent/Student/Teacher conferences will be held on October 11
th
from 4:00pm – 8:00pm. See detailed information below. Conferences offer a great opportunity to build a partnership, share information about your student, and discuss issues related to how their coursework is going. All conferences will be held in classrooms, the commons and cafeteria. Students ARE invited to attend conferences with their parents. Student-led conversation can be very effective.
Student Schedules
We are beginning to change how we do this. In the past, we have had a copy of all student schedules at the front entry for parents and guardians. Increasingly, however, parents are accessing their child’s schedule online through the parent portal, which is great!
All families were sent log-on instructions and passwords in August. If you do not have yours, or if you are having difficulty accessing the portal, you can email
parentportal@edinaschools.org
for assistance. Once in the portal, select Infinite Campus and then your student from the drop down menu. Then click on “Schedule” to the left. Your student’s schedule will appear with teacher names and room numbers. You can print it or just have it on your mobile device as you visit with teachers. This may also be an opportune time to check your student’s grades as well if you have not. Please note that some teachers teach out of multiple rooms and may not be conferencing out of the room listed on your student’s schedule. We will have teacher conference room locations available at the Door 5 entrance.

Both the Writing Center and the SMath Center are open!
Both tutor centers are staffed by 11th and 12th grade peer tutors and a supervising teacher. Students seeking help with a paper for any subject can stop in the Writing Center for a peer coaching session. Students seeking help with science or math homework can stop in the SMath center for tutor assistance.
Both Tutor Centers are open each period of the day so that students
can access them during their student prep hour.
